Easy Taco Meat - Feed an Army

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law. She is an amazing cook and always reminds me that it has taken her years to get that good. So remember, if you are just starting to cook, stick with it! You will get better!


This taco meat is delicious every time and almost impossible to mess up!


Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef

2 packets of taco seasoning

1 can black beans - rinsed & strained

1 can sweet corn - rinsed & strained


1. Cook ground beef on medium to high heat. Break up meat to small pieces so it cooks evenly.

2. Once there is no more pink left, cook for 2-3 more minutes then strain out most of the fat & juices.

3. Mix in both packets of taco seasoning. Add the beans and corn.

4. Put it in a tortilla, taco salad, or whatever you'd like!


I like to save half of the meat mixture in the freezer for when I get behind and can't cook dinner. It's delicious by itself or with whatever toppings you prefer! We like to use these tortillas and sprinkle cheese directly on them once they are cooked and it is delish! Enjoy!
